Looking down from the ramparts of this iron-age Hill Fort across the lush fields, woods and meadows of the Marshwood Vale is one of the finest views to be found in Dorset.
The low evening light accentuates the fields and hedgerows with flashes of bright and varied colours. Tightly woven hedges define the old trackways and paths that have led farmers sheep and cattle to market in the neighbouring town of Bridport. Beyond lies the sea and the famous Jurassic Coast - now a designated World Heritage Site.
Tymn is a mindful Dorset-based creator (artist) finding joy in the ordinary.
After 50+years working as a designer and Creative Director in commercial London media I now derive immense pleasure from creating mixed-media abstract imagery both with acrylics and through my artistic photography (straight out of the box with NO Photoshop - ok!).
