Leave sunlight on the Nam Ou River in Laos.
The Nam Ou is one of the most important rivers of Laos. It runs 448 km from the province of Phongsaly to the province of Luang Prabang. Together with the Mekong, the Nam Ou is the only river suitable for ships with a great draught. Close to the confluence with the Mekong are the Pak Ou caves, famous for the thousands of Buddha statues.
