The Excalibur Series IV was produced from 1980-1985 with a giant block of engine, Chevrolet's 5.0 litre small block eight-cylinder engine, which produced 147 kW (200 hp). Only about 786 Phaeton and 159 Roadster models were produced according to the sources of the German Excalibur fan club - a total of 995 units of all model types. But from the very beginning, Excalibur Automobile Corporation Milwaukee/USA has always believed that less is more!

The design of all Excalibur models was based on a Mercedes-Benz SSK or old Duesenberg cars.
