The second of my small series of images of exotic oriental hookah pipes. I have seen them a lot on my travels around the world but never tried one. A hookah pipe is used for vaporizing and smoking flavoured tobacco or other inhalants. The vapor (or smoke) passes through the water container which is intended to act as a filter and that is what makes the bubbling sound when they are used. They make a wonderful ornate addition to home decor, but so would a fine art prints of this colorful image.
