About "Eyecatcher: hydrangea leaf in the light"

About the artwork

"Eyecatcher: Hydrangea leaf in the light" is a macro photo of a hydrangea leaf that has already partially decayed, allowing you to beautifully see the vein structure of the leaf. If you zoom in on the work you can see
the top two leaves you can only see the vein structure clearly. The leaves are very fragile and thin, making the veins stand out beautifully.
The colours give this work a warm feel. The many different shades of brown (beige, taupe and sometimes almost golden), among others, ensure this. I would describe the background colour as a brown-grey with some purple in it (towards mauve in colour), and the leaf is reflected in the background.
When taking this photo, I chose a shallow depth of field. The further back you look, the blurrier the leaf becomes. This (together with the lighting) creates depth in the work.
The leaf lies on a mirrored surface that does have a texture. As a result, there is no tight shadow, but an almost painterly reflection.
This work could, for example, hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the waiting room, bedroom, hallway or simply above the sofa in the living room! Also beautiful on the wall in a meeting room (business).

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
