I made this collage of portraits of Dutch people in the Golden Age. All portraits can be seen (now and then) in Dutch museums. Can you recognize them all?

The Golden Age is a period in Dutch history that largely coincides witha the seventeenth century. The Northern Netherlands, which together formed the Republic of the Seven United Provinces, flourished in the fields of trade, science and the arts. The Republic also held a leading position in the world in terms of its political and military power (particularly at sea with the VOC). The heyday of the Northern Netherlands, expressed in the metaphor of the golden age, is seen as an important new phase in the development of Western civilisation.
Hobby photographer and all-round creative. My portfolio consists of own photography and CC0-photoshop adaptations. I also "restore" old photos and illustrations digitally and make collages you can keep looking at!
