Out in the early morning by canoe. Fog still hangs over the water as the adventurer begins his day.
The painting is composed of many different layers of paint. I started with very light gray and worked towards progressively darker gray. This gives it depth, while the fog in turn creates a mysterious "wall.
I made the painting with watercolors. Real handiwork! The original is 30 x 40 cm, but the nice thing about a print is that you can choose any size and material you want.
The painting has been photographed in such a way that the structure of the watercolor paper is still clearly visible. This has the advantage that it looks even more like a real painting, even though it is a print.
