Faded into infinite silence by Claire van Dun

Claire van Dun Profile picture A month ago the fields were green and the crops were dancing against a clear blue sky. The power of summer.

Now it is dry and brown. Empty. The soft rustle of the leaves faded into an infinite silence. My eyes follow the lines of the hilly landscape, my gaze the patterns left behind by the farmers after harvesting. The light gently plays with what's left, exposing the subtle details. Like a blanket, an earthly slowness lies over the hills. The landscape moves quietly towards the more silent, subdued, inward-facing winter. The completion of a sunny season; preparing for a new spring.

A minimalistic photo of a hilly landscape that invites you to step into autumn, to slowly switch back and enjoy the summer that has gone by.

Some interior suggestions: the kitchen, a waiting room, practice room, meditation room, yoga studio, bedroom or living room.

Welcome.
Keywords that describe my work: peace, space, serenity, simplicity, minimalist and mostly soft colors.

An invitation to be still and to slow down. Not only to look, but above all to experience the peace, space and simplicity, in the middle of the busy world in which we live.

Main theme: Visual silence; capturing the audible silence in images.

Enjoy.

Warm regards,
Claire (fine art, landscape photographer / image maker with a great love for the beach, the sea and the dunes)
