The Fading Nature series is about the transience of natural elements such as plants, leaves and mushrooms who have arrived at the end of their life cycle. The photographed elements decay and fall into pieces.
From a metaphorical point of view, everything fades away. That is why the photos are also fading, soft and selectively sharp. Fading Nature keeps going, nature renews and fades again.
Fading Nature by Pieter van Roijen
My name is Pieter van Roijen and I am a part-time photographer with my roots in Rotterdam. Many of my photos were taken in and around this metropolis on the Meuse, but also nature and landscapes at home and abroad. In addition to nature and landscape photography, I also focus on architecture, urban and industrial (port & industrial) photography. The Rijnmond area and especially Rotterdam offer many opportunities for this. Not least because of the great diversity of subjects. The range of photos is regularly updated, so feel free to visit us more often. also take a look at: https://www.flickr.com/photos/pvrfotografie/ All photos can be sold through work on the wall.
