About "Fairground Horses"

About the artwork

All the fun of the fair is shown in this photo art image of fairground horses on a carousel waiting for a ride. Waiting for children to get on board, the merry go round is brightly painted in traditional style. The white horse at the front is very ornate with bright colors. A traditional ride at the fairground, a carousel nearly always has these wonderful painted horses that look like they are flying through the air when the carousel is in motion - or at least that is how I remember them from my childhood!

As a child my Mum would take my brother, sister and me to the funfair and one of my favorite rides was the merry go round or carousel. I always loved the merry go round horses, so beautiful, proud and ornate and the way they seem to be flying when the ride is in motion.

Seeing this old carousel here in Italy, brought me back to my childhood. I think it would be frowned upon for me to get on it for a ride at my age though! Be fun to try though wouldn't it? As an adult, and looking at this with grown up eyes, I can appreciate the decor and the well polished wooden flooring of the merry go round itself. Wonderfully nostalgic.

And of course they didn't have to wait long for kids to come along to have a ride and have fun. The smiles on their faces brought a big grin to my face as I remembered that feeling.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
