Falkenstein Castle, formerly known as Neuer Falkenstein Castle, is a medieval hilltop castle in the Harz Mountains. It belongs to the municipality of Falkenstein/Harz in the Harz district of Saxony-Anhalt. It was built between 1120 and 1180.
The most impressive castle rises high above the Selke valley. The Counts of Falkenstein had it built in the first half of the 12th century.

The Selketal is a nature reserve covering around 660 hectares near the town of Falkenstein/Harz in the district of Harz in Saxony-Anhalt. The nature reserve stretches south of Ballenstedt along the deeply incised Selke Valley between Meisdorf and the municipal border with Quedlinburg and Harzgerode.

The Harz, called Hart ('mountain forest') until the Middle Ages, is a low mountain range in Germany and the highest mountain range in northern Germany. It lies at the intersection of Lower Saxony, Saxony-Anhalt and Thuringia. The legendary Harz Mountains are home to extensive forests, bizarre rock formations, moors that are thousands of years old, original streams and the majestic Brocken. At 1142 metres above sea level, the Brocken is the highest mountain in the Harz low mountain range, in Saxony-Anhalt and in the whole of northern Germany.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
