About the artwork

Nine women are depicted in this drawing, illustration or print. A woman is sitting on a chair or more like a seat with, next to her, a naked girl who is posing with a shawl around her bosom. The legs, stomach and shoulders of this nude model are naked.

In the front right two girls are sitting on this partially nude portrait with buttocks, hips and back completely exposed in black and white. On the left there is a lady with her breasts bared, topless. In the front there is a model with tits, chest, belly, buttocks and legs also bared.

All in all a sexy and sensual erotic picture with romance.
A queer image possibly based on a lesbian relationship.

Johannes Josephus Aarts (The Hague, August 18, 1871 - Amsterdam, October 19, 1934) was a Dutch painter, draughtsman, lithographer, engraver, etcher, publicist, illustrator, teacher at academy, director of academy, professor, sculptor and book designer.

Jan Aarts studied at the Academy of Art in The Hague. He worked in The Hague until 1911, and in Amsterdam from 1911 to 1934.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
