Jan Keteleer (JanKé): A Journey Beyond the Canvas Profile picture This Italian sports car series features a manual transmission and an oil-filled engine. The original model had big air bags, a four-wheel drive, and a long wheelbase. Many of the modern day Abarth cars feature smaller engines and manual transmissions. They are however different in many ways and you will be able to see this when you go to look at one.

The Fiat 500 Abarth has had many ups and downs throughout its life and in the 1960's, it had many problems including short-bodied bodywork and serious safety issues. In the 1970's the car series saw a change with the introduction of a modern and sleek design. It was redesigned again and was simplifying, improving the way in which it was handled. In this new design the fenders were sleeker, the hoods were smaller and the cars were made more streamlined overall. Production continued into the late 1980's when there was a total redesign of the entire car line.

Today the Fiat 500 Abarth is considering to be a classy car. Although it is smallish in size, it has all of the high performance parts that are needed for classic cars and can also run on gasoline. It has been around for a long time and many people still love to drive these models even though they are so out of fashion. There are even people who like to buy older fashions and use them as collectibles, or if they want a functional car they may choose to go with the manual version of this model.

This artwork is offered by Jan Keteleer (JanKé): A Journey Beyond the Canvas

Jan Keteleer, known in the art world as JanKé, is a Belgian artist whose work flows seamlessly between the realms of classical and contemporary art. With an eye for both tradition and innovation, his creations transcend time, encompassing styles as varied as pop art, impressionism, and timeless classicism.
For Keteleer, art is not merely a discipline—it is a language, a vessel for expressing the unspoken depths of human experience. His philosophy is as profound as his technique: "Master every existing method so completely that you can fully convey the essence of what you wish to express."
Through his work, Keteleer invites his audience to look beyond the surface, to engage not just with the visual beauty of his art but with the emotions and ideas that lie beneath. Each piece is a dialogue, a call to reflect, to feel, to connect.
Whether you stand before his modern interpretations or his evocative tributes to classical forms, Keteleer’s art challenges, comforts, and inspires—reminding us of the shared threads that bind our individual stories into a collective human tapestry.
