Abstract impression of the dunes in the largest mobile coastal sand mass in the southern hemisphere at Stockton Bight. The first rays of sunlight of the day create a beautiful abstract pattern of lights and shadows. The creation of the landscape began over 100,000 years ago and these huge dunes are 'alive' and changing forever. Stockton itself is the longest beach in the state at 32 miles and the dunes offer endless appeal. Their shape, slope and stability depend on the weather.
I work on commission as an architectural photographer, but also for photo agencies. My work is to represented by Offset ("a new, curated collection of extraordinary, engaging imagery from top artists and storytellers around the world") and Hollandse Hoogte, "a full-service photo agency that represents both Dutch photographers and prestigious international agencies." Until now only about ten Dutch photographers were allowed to contribute to Offset, and I was the first Dutch architecture photographer attached to this agency.
