These fishermen on Inle Lake have mastered an unusual technique when it comes to paddling their boats. Carefully balancing on one leg, wrapping their second leg around the oar to guide the vessel through the freshwater lake. But nowadays some fishermen only use this technique for the tourist visiting the lake.

Vincent Vink (23) lost himself from an early age in the programs of National Geographic and Animal Planet. He later sought his adventure outside the city walls of Amsterdam in unknown countries. Meanwhile, his passion for wildlife and nature photography arose. After several photography related journeys, he has found that the authenticity of the image he captures plays the main role, but at the same time is also his greatest challenge. Since then he has been constantly travelling with the aim of capturing Mother Nature in the purest sense.
