Floating poppy back from the Floating flower series was taken with an analog camera the Fuji GX680. This camera also has a polaroid back. First a polaroid was made and this polaroid picture was placed in lukewarm water. The top transparent film then let go with the image on it. This floating membrane is photographed. The camera can also have a back for slide film. A 6x8 cm slide was also made of the flower. This slide was digitized and in photoschop the photo was edited so that the flower is clearly visible.
This photo represents vulnerability and impermanence.
