Flower woman, cool pose of a woman in a floral dress.
The painting is part of 3 paintings that fit together, cheerful and powerful on the wall. Have them printed on different materials. Paper, glass or plastic and they all take on a different look.
My inspiration comes from beautiful light, I paint animals, people and objects from everyday life. I look for the most beautiful light and use distinct colours. This painting was created entirely digitally. Following in the footsteps of the amazing painter David Hockney, who was the first to set up an entire exhibition with paintings he made on his i-pad. At the age of 85.
In 2013 at San Francisco's fine art museum. He was the first well-known painter to use the i-pad to create museum art. Created using a pen with 'oil paint' but a digital pen that controls the pixels on my i-pad and allows me to create brush strokes that are indistinguishable from real ones. A joy to do and wonderful to see for myself how my work evolved into something entirely new as a result. And continues to do so daily.
