Flower still life with coneflowers is a watercolour painting in portrait format hand-painted by the artist Karen Kaspar.
A glass vase containing three yellow rudbeckias or coneflowers is depicted on a pastel-coloured background in shades of blue, yellow and green. While the flowers and the vase are drawn in more detail with delicate lines of sepia ink and coloured with watercolours, the background is painted with loose, fresh watercolour washes.

I have been a passionate artist since childhood. I work in traditional painting techniques such as watercolour, acrylic, pastel and drawing with charcoal, pencil and ink. For me, inspiration is everywhere around me. My favourite subjects are flowers, animals (especially cats and birds), landscapes and colourful abstract paintings. I love to create pictures with which I can convey joy and happiness to other people.
