View on foggy North sea
Russia is my homeland but since 2010 I call Leeuwarden my homebase. Here in the Netherlands I feel free to be who I want to be. As a human being and as a photographer.
The fascination for photography has always been there. In my head I was always busy making pictures of the world around me. Inspired by the work of The Sartorialist (street fashion photographer from NY), I started my own blog about street fashion in Moscow. Shortly after I moved to the Netherlands, where I made my passion my work. I have a great love for portrait photography. It is such an honor to portray people in all their natural beauty.
Still life of old dutch masters was always my great inspiration. I like to make atmospheric still lifes myself and sometimes they become a bit abstract. This work gives me the opportunity to enjoy beautiful light and correct composition.
