Fort de la Chartreuse in Liège (Liege) is a 200 year old fort built on the river Meuse to defend the city. Before the second war it served as a barracks, during the war as a prison, after the liberation as a hospital for american soldiers. After the 80's, the municipality of Liege left this location behind, after which it became open to the public to look around. Resulting in a fantastic urbex location.
