Fusion of technology and nature in art - 1 of 3 by Bart Veeken

As part of an experiment to discover how technology can shape art, I asked AI to create a modern artwork that captures the essence of these modern times. AI suggested combining digital and organic elements with abstract forms and vibrant colours, interweaving holographic patterns with natural textures. It then developed a script based on these ideas.
Using that script, I had an AI-controlled art generator create images, and from these I selected three works, which I have posted here on the site. This is the first.

It shows an interplay of abstract shapes and colours, with influences from expressionism and abstract art, combined with a contemporary digital twist. What is striking is the inclusion of a face in the work, which gives the abstract character a recognisable and human dimension.

Jackson Pollock's influences are visible in the dynamic brushstrokes and energetic composition, while the abstract shapes and vibrant colours are reminiscent of Wassily Kandinsky's work. The use of powerful reds and oranges, alongside cool blues and greens, enhances the dynamism and movement in the work.

This artwork will look particularly good in a modern living or working space. It acts as a visual anchor that enhances the energy of the space and invites conversation. The face in the work provides an interesting focus, attracting the viewer and giving the composition an extra layer of meaning.
