"Gemini" (2020) is a 3D abstract digital painting from the "Zodiac Constellation Series ".
Since my art is basically based on dots and geometry, I was inspired by all the different constellations of the zodiac that also had this concept in them; connecting dots that create a certain constellation.
For each sign, I made different sketches that fit the sign and its characteristics according to a certain personality and its astrology. Then I made the 3D artwork by hand, which took me a few days per constellation.

Pat Bloom (Gouda / Rotterdam) is a transdisciplinary digital artist and grew up in the 90's / 00's with cyberspace, graffiti, street-art, graphic and interactive art.
The next logical step was the Willem de Kooning Academy (Rotterdam) where he obtained his Bachelor of Arts in New Media.
His current mostly digital artworks can be described as a mix of 3D, abstract, cubism and minimalism and can be recognized by the colorful and dynamic style that the work exudes.
The work starts as a sketch or photo and evolves (after a self-developed process of sketching, drawing, constructing) into a virtual 3D model or scene. The compositions are rendered at high resolution (sometimes it takes days before the digital art is ready) and are transferred in a limited edition to a durable medium such as photo prints and HD Metal.
