An abstract painting of acrylic paint on stone in mainly purple and blue tones.
Geodes were an inspiration for this painting. Geodes begin their life as a hollow bubble within a layer of rocks. They are found all over the world in igneous rocks such as lava.
When cut open, they reveal their beautiful insides filled with sparkling minerals and crystals.
The colours, the flowing yet whimsical shapes in this painting may remind you of an Amethyst.
It lets your imagination run wild.

Creating atmospheric images is the style I love. In my photography and painting it is mainly nature, always an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
It is looking, observing and associating where I like to combine my photos and edit them digitally. This creates a new image that you can look at for a longer time.
My paintings are executed in different paint techniques. Mostly abstract, minimalistic images with eloquence where your eyes wander over and always something new to discover.
My work has its own style that invites you to look at it longer and leaves room for your own interpretation.
