It can be found at various places in the stream valley system of the Drenthe Aa: torment. Torment is actually groundwater. This groundwater flows from the Drents Plateau to the lower stream valleys and emerges there. Sometimes the water takes dozens or even hundreds of years to reach the surface. In the meantime, it is enriched with all kinds of minerals and other substances. All this can make the water look beautiful, a colourful whole. You can make beautiful macro photos of this that look like an abstract painting. Standing with your feet in the seepage ground is always careful, the ground is so marshy and unreliable. It provides standard blubbery shoes and a ditto tripod. But on top of that I also came home with a blue foot.
