Paula Romein about Giraffe with the Little Drakensberg in South Africa

At the big game estate Leadwood, near Hoedspruit, giraffes regularly walk near the Leadwood dam with the small Drakensberg Mountains in the background.

As a photographer, I work and live mostly in the Netherlands but I also stay a lot on this beautiful estate where our South African home is located. And at every errand or appointment in the village, I take my camera with me, because you never know what beautiful moment you might encounter in the 15 minutes we drive through the park.

Paula Romein is a Dutch photographer who has been working for various companies since 2008. She is also a travel photographer, which is her great passion.

She began her studies at the Stichting Kunstzinnige Vorming in Rotterdam and later followed the course at Martin van Thiel's photography school in Utrecht. Paula lives with her partner Rolf and their two cats in the Zeeland village of Burgh-Haamstede.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
