A modern adaptation of the 'Girl with the Pearl' of Johannes Vermeer on a background of Delft blue tiles with drawings that tell something about her life. The link between the tiles and the portrait is that they were both made in Delft and also happened in exactly the same period. Hence the delft blue tiles as a background. The original painting (an acrylic painted portrait on a printed background on canvas) is directly available from artist in size 1.00 x 1.00 m and 1.30 x 1.30 m.
