"Golden-coloured Tragopogon (Morning Star) with turquoise-blue background" is a macro photo of part of a fluffy bulb of a Tragopogon (also called Morning Star in the Netherlands). This plant is very similar to the dandelion and is also related to it (Composite family / Asteraceae). When the flowers have finished flowering, lint balls are formed, in which the seeds are attached to fluffy seeds and can thus spread by the wind. In the morning star, the fluff balls look different from those of the dandelion. They have a cobweb-like structure.
When taking this photo, I chose a shallow depth of field. The focus is on the point of the fluff right of centre (where the stalk turns into fluff) Everything in front and behind this plane slowly fades away. If you zoom in on this photo, you can see this clearly.
This work has mainly pastel-like colours and a natural look. It makes me feel happy and summery! A little piece of summer nature for your wall. For example, this work could hang beautifully as a wall decoration in the bedroom, dining room or just above the sofa! Also beautiful in business locations such as on the wall in a meeting room, office, waiting room or practice room!
