Friedhelm Peters comes from the beautiful Münsterland region in North Rhine-Westphalia and was born in Germany in 1964. He works as an intensive care nurse and his passion for photography accompanied him since childhood. His grandfather was an avid photographer and passed this passion on to him. In the 2000s, he began to pursue his enjoyment of photography as a balance to his profession, and in the 2010s he participated in various photography competitions and received numerous awards. His photographs show a special sensitivity for light, colours and composition. Friedhelm Peters is known for his nature and animal photographs as well as architectural photographs. He particularly enjoys taking photographs at the North Sea in the Netherlands, where he has discovered a variety of breathtaking landscapes and beaches. Friedhelm Peters has achieved many successes and received numerous awards. He won the Recklinghausen regional elimination in the Blende photo competition in 2015, the winning photo of the "Einfach Tierisch" photo competition by Europafoto in 2017, the winning photo of the photo test in the magazine "Fototest" in April 2011, third place in the D-Pixx photo competition in May 2013 and the winning photo of the photo competition of the Stadtwerke Coesfeld in January 2010. He also won the winning picture of the photo salon of the magazine "Foto Digital" in issue
