The Speicherstadt in Hamburg is the largest warehouse complex in the world. The buildings stand on timber pile foundations; the whole district was constructed between 1883 and 1927 to create a free trade zone.
Today the Speicherstadt is one of the main attractions of Hamburg, an impressive joint venture of bricks and water. This image shows the western part of the district, seen from the Poggenmühlenbrücke.
My work can be found in the border regions of photography, painting and computer visuals. With my company 3Develop I do work in commission but I use the same techniques, skills and software to make free work.
