On a high plateau in the Amakhala Game Reserve in South Africa, an entire lion family was tucking into a nice meal. This young lion and lioness - brother and sister - still had some energy left and were playing together. Truly a handsome couple.
Because it was spring, the plain was beautifully (lightly) green and many flowers were growing. That gives this photo an extra touch.
