Heart - a pulsating symbol of diversity, identity and lived emotion, oscillating in impasto colour between inner vulnerability and powerful visibility

by AidasignArt

This abstract, colour-intensive work of art depicts the heart as a central symbol of human emotion, identity and connectedness. In a dense, impasto application of colour, it rises powerfully from the white primed pictorial space and appears vulnerable and determined at the same time. The visible materiality of the colour - layered, compressed, almost corporeal - lends the motif a tangible presence and allows the painterly process itself to become part of the statement.

The heart glows in the rainbow colours of the Pride flag and thus becomes an open sign of diversity, self-determination and lived solidarity. The colours do not stand still: they flow, overlap and start to move. At the outer edge, they break up, splash outwards, run in drops and colour noses, as if emotions were crossing the formal boundary of the heart. These uncontrolled traces tell of inner tension, of passion and of the courage to make oneself visible.

The white background does not appear empty, but rather like a silent resonance chamber that lends depth and clarity to the colour events. It allows the heart to breathe freely and enhances its radiance. The result is a work that oscillates between abstraction and symbolism and invites the viewer to read the heart not just as a form, but as an attitude: open, multi-layered and full of life.
