During my recent travels in Ghana, I had the opportunity to work at a flour mill where I was struck by the challenges faced by the local people. Despite their struggles, they maintained a positive outlook and worked hard to support their families by making and selling baked goods such as bread and beignets. Sadly, some of them did not even have a place to call home.
To help alleviate their hardship, I provided some supplies such as flour, butter, and other ingredients. However, I believe that more can be done to support them. Instead of giving money directly, I have the help of a local contact who I know personally and can purchase and provide flour and butter.
To fund this effort, I am selling posters featuring photographs that I took during my time in Ghana. The profit I make on these pictures will entirely go to the people to help them make a better life for themselves.
