After a cloudy day the clouds pulled open and let the sun finally see above the heath in Hilversum, the Netherlands. The last rays of sun just touch the flowers. The colors of flowering heather, grass and the air got even more intense.

Bart Verbrugge is a professional photographer since 2014. The common thread in his work is minimalism. Less is more. Also, colors are important in his photographs, because color always beautifully reflects the atmosphere and emotions of a moment.
Born in 1971 in Amstelveen, the Netherlands, he was taught the principles of photography by his father at an early age. He taught him how to look at nature and to recognize beautiful compositions. Something that is essential to photography.
The beauty of photography is that there are endless possibilities. As long as he hasn't found the end he will keep creating.
