One of the few private cemeteries in Germany was created between 1830 and 1840 by the first Höllhammer owner (iron hammer) Gerorg Ludwig Rexroth. The hammer owners and their relatives were buried here. The graves with their artistically decorated cast-iron crosses are surrounded by 22 oak trees that were once planted at equal intervals. The wrought-iron crypt in the centre of the cemetery is worthy of note. Georg Ludwig Rexroth was buried in this crypt in 1854. The last Höllhammer owner from the Rexroth family, Friedrich August jun. died in 1919. The hammer mill became a farm again, which came into the possession of the Reitzenstein family.
Amateur photographer with advanced knowledge, retired for 6 years. Made my first experiences with photography as an employee at CANON and now, after many stations, take photos digitally with the Pentax K1 MK II and various lenses. My main focus is difficult to define. Actually everything that comes in front of my lens and doesn't look like a snapshot. I always try to tell a little story with my pictures or at least to get the viewer's imagination going.
