Mountain basin in southwestern Colorado's Ouray County. The valley is known for its springtime floral displays and Twin Falls. We walked the trail after spring so there were not many flowers. But beautiful views and rock formations and shadows from clouds and sun. Brown grass between boulders.

I was born in Leens in Groningen and moved around a lot. Meanwhile we, my wife and I live in Assen. The children are out the door. I have been working with photography since I was 16 years old. First with a Ricoh 35 ZF , later switched to SLR camera's of Praktica and Olympus ( analogue ) and now for many years Nikon. I like to make yearbooks of the format 30 x 30. The camera always goes with me when I am out and about.
