This photo was taken from the Zaanse Schans. It was a beautiful warm spring evening.
After finishing a modelling shoot, we witnessed an improbably beautiful sunset. These historic cottages are on the other side of the Zaanse Schans. On the Lagedijk in Zaandijk.
It is beautiful how the setting sun sets the whole sky ablaze. And the beautiful reflection this gives on the water.
It is beautiful how the houses almost, but just barely, become silhouettes against the beautiful pink/orange sky.
This photo gives a warm feeling because of the colours but certainly also because of the nostalgia of the cottages across the water.
