This artwork is offered by Ivo Ketelaar

Ivo Ketelaar is a professional photographer, was born in 1960, is married, has 2 sons and has Asperger syndrome (a form of autism). He was diagnosed in 2011.

I prefer to photograph landscapes, wherever I am. I am also fascinated by the way animals behave.
My project Hoe Kijkt Autisme started in 2017 and is about showing the experience and emotions of people with autism. Emotions that autistic people are said not to have. These emotions do exist, but they are often invisible to the outside world. I show those emotions in my photographs of How Autism Looks. With this I try to bring people with and without autism closer together. Because of the Autism Week 2020 and the fact that meetings about autism could not take place due to the corona crisis, I offer my Hoe Kijkt Autisme photo images at a reduced rate until Sunday 5 April (the end of Autism Week 2020).
