The Hummingbird butterfly is a moth that is both diurnal and nocturnal. It is very common. A migratory butterfly, it can be seen in varying numbers throughout the country each year. It is very difficult to photograph because it is lightning fast and does not stay in the same place for a second (it is not called the 'restless butterfly' for nothing). This butterfly often hovers in front of flowers with its long tongue sucking up nectar.

When hoovering, they make a snorting sound. But lavender or butterfly bushes are also very popular among butterflies. They are very reminiscent of a hummingbird (bird) and they are beautiful to see!
