The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the East River in New York City, connecting Lower Manhattan with Brooklyn. This neighborhood is called DUMBO. The area was originally a ferry landing, characterized by 19th- and early 20th-century industrial and warehouse buildings, now it becomes more and more a popular residential and commercial community.
