While on holiday in Belgium, a visit to the well-known Dinant on the Meuse was not to be missed. We were waiting for the rock to be illuminated. This turned out to be at the stroke of 9pm. A true fairytale scene unfolded. How wonderful to witness this! Even the wind died down, creating a perfect reflection in the water. As it was difficult, even with a wide-angle lens, to capture all this beauty in one image, I decided to take 4 shots and make a vertical panorama of these, so that the reflection was fully included. This had to be done right after each other, though, because otherwise the blue hour and the sky would change a lot. After all, I was working with slow shutter speeds. At home, I would only see if these shots could be merged. To my great joy, this succeeded. As a result, so many details are visible and it has become a beautiful overall picture.
I am a very passionate photographer. Nature has so much to offer, wandering around keeps my head clear and brings calmness. Through macro photography I make the invisible visible. However, I also love to capture landscapes and cityscapes. After all, it is not what you look at that matters, it is what you see.
