Izamal is a colonial town on Mexico's Yucatán peninsula. The reason that this town is so special is that almost all buildings in the town are painted yellow. And nobody seems to know exactly why. In any case it is super photogenic! I took this picture in one of the main streets, where the flags were hanging as decoration for Dia de Muertos.
I'm Raisa, and I shoot colourful, minimalist travel photography full of adventure, wanderlust vibes and pastel colours. In my collections, you will find extraordinary beaches, fine architecture, botanical plates and other landscapes and elements that caught my attention on the trips I take. Enjoy!
