The Jaguar XJ13 is a racing car prototype developed by Jaguar in the mid-1960s to compete in the Le Mans 24 Hours. Only one example was built. Equipped with the first V12 DOHC (DOHC) double overhead camshaft engine designed for racing and which gave rise to the famous single-shaft V12 engine that will equip the Type E Series 3, the XJ Series 1,2 and 3 sedans and the X300 until 1997.
