The Janus is the statue of the Roman God Janus, The God with the 2 faces and the namesake of the month of January.
This statue has stood on the lighthouse square in Noordwijk since 1964. A sculpture made by Hague Artist Joop van Kralingen ( 1916-2001 )
I was inspired by the combination of the statue of the god Janus, the deity of the sky and sunlight in ancient Roman mythology, and the sun directly above him. I found this combination interesting, symbolic and naturally beautiful.
Here I chose the square format, which: brings symmetry and stability to your interior.
