By mid-May, the young of the first brood have fledged. Kingfishers can produce as many as four broods a year, however, two to three is more common. Soon the first nest was cleaned by the male and many matings followed. Up close I was able to capture this with ideal conditions, this created a beautiful image of this kingfisher mating in very high resolution, where you can count the eyelashes of both kingfishers. In a nice wide panorama format for that extra wow factor on the wall. For over 25 years, I have been enchanted by the beauty and way of life of these beautiful birds. My passion is to capture these wonders of nature in the most beautiful and natural way possible.
