Konik horses in the snow in Lentevreugd nature reserve. There are about 20 of these horses walking here. The konik is often said to be related to the tarpan, an extinct wild horse from Eastern Europe. Like many other original horse breeds, the konik is small (pony size) and its coat shows characteristics of the wild colour pattern.
