A group of Konik horses on the beach of river Waal near Beuningen. A place about 20 minutes walk from my house. A place where I used to stroll around as a little boy.
Now I like to walk there once or twice a week. Not with my whole photo equipment but with just the body with the 24-105.
The Konik horses and Red Beasts (Scottish Highlanders) we didn't have as little boys. Now they are an additional subject for my photos.
I found this group on an overcast day. Big and small relaxing on the beach with the gray river that lent itself perfectly as a background.
Personally, I am especially enamored with the natural tones and the diagonal lines the horses make in the image.
For the (Konik) horse lovers a nice picture for on the wall I think.

I work as an ambulance driver at the general practitioner's office in Nijmegen. I like to walk in nature, always with my photo backpack with me. For me it's a nice combination of movement, silence and looking. My favourite place for this is the Hatertse Vennen near Nijmegen.
And with our 'Black Bus' (camper) my Monique and I are on the road through Europe. Favorite camper spot is Greece. Alternating with the occasional cold and wet destination such as Scotland, Ireland or Norway.
I'd like to share a selection of my photos with you. Maybe you'll get something nice 'on the wall', and I'll contribute to keep my hobby a bit more affordable.
