Het Markermeer is voor een groot deel mensenwerk. Aan de rand van Bataviahaven bij Lelystad doorsnijden hekken en pieren het water. Ze vormen diagonalen met een natuurlijk element, het riet. Kunstmatigheid en echtheid vullen elkaar aan. En zo gaat, boven de rompen van lelijke windturbines in de verte, de zon toch mooi onder.
