I took this photo in the Heidesteijn and Bornea nature reserve, near Zeist. During our walk we saw some young conifers, later we noticed that these trees were full of insects, including ladybugs.
This little model was one of a kind. He stayed put, and even better, sat exactly so that I got an incredibly beautiful composition. The blurred leaves/needles around the ladybug give the photo a dynamic feel, it's as if the ladybug is running towards you at high speed.
