The world's sexiest car.
And that includes the Miura to this day and, with a height of 1.06 m higher at the time, the lowest sports car of its time.
12-cylinder V-engine with 60° fork angle, unladen weight 1180 kg and with 350 HP a top speed of 293 km/h. By the way, the year is 1966 and back then it was an absolute novelty!
The Miura P400 (1966-1969) pictured here was built only 474 times and all by hand.
Others were the Miura P400S (140 pieces from 1968-1971) and Miura P400SV (150 pieces from 1971-1972).
I have been practicing vintage car photography for more than 35 years and here I mainly photograph normal everyday vehicles which were still on the road en masse over 30 years ago. But also cars with extraordinary, beautiful design. From time to time I take pictures of cars, motorcycles and trucks of recent times, when they have particularly beautiful shapes, curves and somehow tempt to dream and drive like a BMW Z8. I find these automotive beauties not only in museums, but also in specialized workshops for vintage cars, with collectors who have invited me to photograph their classics or often in dark, dusty sheds and halls or simply parked at the roadside.
