Fort Vauban, located on the Opal Coast in the town of Ambleteuse, northern France. Built in 1680, the fort is located at the mouth of the Slack River and was intended to protect a war port. During low tide you can walk far out from the shoreline and the many rocks at the bottom make for an unusual landscape.
Enthusiastic photographer with preference for nature, landscape, long shutter speed and evening photography.
